TAJ E News

This coming Shabbat is what we call a

Post Chanukah surprise.

We will be hosting, praise and worship duo,

 Barry and Batya Segal.

They are among Israel's leading Messianic musical

recording artists and have recorded

seven albums together.

Their songs, which incorporate rich vocal harmonies

 and ancient Yemenite elements.

Batya was born in Jerusalem after her parents who  made

Aliyah to Israel in the late 1930's from Yemen.

Barry was born in Detroit, MI

Today, Barry and Batya live on the outskirts of Jerusalem,

and in 1994 they established Vision for Israel

and The Joseph Storehouse to help

disadvantaged people in Israel and other nations.

Time to say farewell to our Deacon, Kurt Wilson.

He has been part of TAJ for 10 years+

and has been a strong force in bringing

a strong infrastructure to this congregation...

such as creating Core Values, A vision and mission statement,

and building up leaders and discipleship.

He has led the morning prayer group

  before our Shabbat service.

He has helped me enormously with the daily going-ons of

the Temple, including the Website.

Kurt feels it was time to move on to

"another Kingdom path".

Wherever He leads Kurt, may he be used

to further the Kingdom.

We are thankful that we are able to part

in love and shalom.
