TAJ E-NEWS 2015-12-6

May we all rededicate our hearts to the Lord.
May we clean out our temples
and may He fill us with His Spirit.

Marty Goetz, in his great song about Chanukah, writes....

Make my life Your temple
Lord, at this season start
To pull down every idol
I have raised up in my heart

On this Chanukah
On this Feast of Dedication
I dedicate myself to You
Condolences to Shilo Messianic Congregation in Redlands, CA
on the loss of their shamash, Nicholas Thalasinos.
He was one of the victims of the shooting in San Bernadino this past week.

Shilo Messianic congregation writes about Nick....
Our dear brother Nick Thalasinos went to be with the Lord Wednesday December 2nd.  Some of you may not have personally known Nick, so I would like to share a bit about him.  Nick has been an active member with Shiloh at the Calimesa campus for about 2 years with his lovely wifeJennifer.  Nick is famous for his colorful suspenders, rimmed hat, Tzitzit and  Tallit. He served faithfully as a Shamashim, often staying late to ensure the sanctuary and other rooms were organized and clean for the Sunday congregation.  He over saw the kitchen with our sister Carrie Ray and often would not allow the women to carry heavy items when cleaning up after an event. Nick also loved to greet new comers with a handshake, a hug, and a smile.  He was an active evangelist and prayer warrior.  Nick shared numerous miraculous healings with our congregation to build our faith. He loved to pray and hug people and often said how much he loved Shiloh Messianic Congregation.  He was a genuine compassionate man whom we will dearly miss, until we are together again.

Temple Aviv Judea had a chance to
say Kaddish for him yesterday.
We grieve with Jennifer and the congregation.
What affects part of the body, affects us all.

If it is on your heart to help his wife at this time,
there is a gofundme account set up for her.

Temple Aviv Judea want to thank Lev Shelo (His heart) and Corry Bell
for the beautiful concert yesterday afternoon.

We all came, heavy in heart, due to the news of Nick
but it could not stop the joy that is always present in our hearts
knowing our Messiah.
And there was much joy that was displayed yesterday.

Special thanks to John Lee, Lambert Hunter, John Lamb
and Bobby Abejo for the great work in the sound room.

Also, thank you to the Ratthe family.
They are an amazing family. Nine of the most amazing children...with another on the way.
They all tried to find words to describe their adventures in Israel.
I asked the boys what was their secret of being so special..... they replied all in unison,
"Because of our parents!"

We ended the day with Havdalah....
and we really did not want to see the Shabbat to be over.
Happy Birthday to Andy Serrano!
