Rabbi’s Corner:

The Season of Outreach is upon us! PURIM-PASSOVER-YOM HASHOAH. We can see the similarity of all three; evil men with evil intent for the Jewish people: Haman, Pharaoh, and the Fuhrer. All three were judged and destroyed. We can tie the three events together with the three R’s:

RESCUE, REDEMPTION, AND RESTORATION.

Let us not forget the reason for doing these events. We are all here to bring the Good News to the Jewish people, in LOVE. We are reaching out to them and showing our love in action and deed. Let us all be mindful of this as we love them. Imagine the Jewish people as Yeshua. Let us pour out our love to them and be thankful to them for being the carriers of the Torah and the Good News. It is not YOU that are responsible of opening their eyes, it is HaShem!!

• Israel Mission: The brochures are here! Please see Hilary if you would like one. We are going to Israel in November for 12 days. This will be time to visit and support the Messianic Believers. If you are interested, see the Rebbetzin. The cost is $3,110 for 12 days & Includes Non Stop Airfare on El Al, hotels, all breakfasts & dinners, & all entry fees. Make sure your passport is up to date. Limit 25 people.

• Please pray for Corrine to get a full time job. Any leads will be appreciated.
• Our Purim Festival is just around the corner! It will be at the Yorba Linda Community Center on Sunday March 11th from 12:00 – 5:00. The Klezmer group ‘Mostly Kosher’ will be the headliners! Also, Ellah Gorelik will be singing. Wendy will be doing an acting workshop.
• Thank you TAJ teachers who are leading the Shabbat School. They are rotating monthly. The teachers are: Azi and Carolyn, Mike and Marie, Luanne and David, and Kevin and Renee.
• Passover is coming. April 7th Shabbat luncheon at Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park. The cost = $36. This is an outreach. Invite our Jewish brothers and sisters to this most important and holy time that commemorates our redemption from sin and bondage. Please send the money to Temple Aviv Judea, P.O. Box 1124 Yorba Linda, CA 92885 or give the money in an envelope to Maria Coe, our treasurer. Make sure you include how many and the names of the guests.
